Johns Towing has a fleet of sixteen tow trucks and covers the Rocky Mountain Region. With that many trucks it that inevitable that problems occur (and have occurred). With the assistance of Security Consultants and Protection Group we implemented the use of Global Positioning Systems in all of our vehicles. The devices have reduced the amount of wasted fuel expended and miles driven since we are now able to dispatch more efficiently. Since we are able to track where our drivers are and where they were, we were able to clear a driver accused of wrong doing. Additionally as a management tool it has also substantiate evidence of wrong doing, allowing us to be proactive and diligent in termination actions. With our involvement in the cutting horse industry, breeding, training and raising great quality cutting horses, technology has played a very important role in our operation. With the cameras located through out our barn we have the ability to monitor our mares that are in foal and horses when they become injured or ill.
